Does Apple TV+ show football?
Two things must be distinguished. Apple TV+ is Apple's series-and-films streaming service, with no live football in France. Separately, Apple offers the 'MLS Season Pass', a subscription dedicated to Major League Soccer (the North American league), sold on its own. In France, Apple broadcasts neither Ligue 1, nor the Champions League, nor LaLiga, Serie A or the Bundesliga.
We include Apple TV+ in this comparison for honesty: many fans wonder whether it lets them watch European football. The answer is no, apart from MLS via a separate pass.

Apple TV+ and the MLS Season Pass run through the Apple TV app, available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, but also many smart TVs, Fire TV, Chromecast, consoles and browsers. The ecosystem is not limited to Apple devices.
Is Apple TV+ right for you?
For a French or European football fan, Apple TV+ is not a priority: there is no Ligue 1 or Champions League. Its only football value is if you follow MLS, via the dedicated pass. Otherwise, treat it as a series-and-films service, not a sports subscription.
